Web World Index is a web directory comprised of 15 main Categories that break down to almost 20,000 sub-categories. Listings on this directory are offered for free, though they appear beneath the premium listings. These premium listings available for $25 for a year, after which the listing becomes a regular listing.

Strengths:      

·         Upon opening the Web World Index homepage, you are greeted by 15 well appointed main categories with sub categories listed underneath.

·         The homepage is free of bandwidth eating advertisements.

·         Directory is easy to navigate.

·         Regular listings are free

·         The site is human edited

 Weaknesses:

·         This directory seems to contain about a third of the listings as directories like Yahoo or Open web.
