Introduction: Websites Promotion Direcotry is a newer web directory. This web directory allows anyone to submit sites to their directory, which appear instantly. Of course, this requires that they register. This directory also allows users to make up their own subcategories.

 

 

â–ª Webmasters can get their sites included in the directory instantly

 

â–ª Has a great variety of categories and subcategories

 

â–ª Most categories have a sufficient amount of sites to choose from, which are supported by Google.

 

â–ª Human maintaned

 

 

â–ª Poor quality control. Sites are submitted instantly without review form editors. Even though editor go through and check submissions eventually, this still allows for bad and brokien links to be included in the directory for some duration of time.

 

▪ Some categories don’t even have links available for users to research. Low availability.

 

▪ Displays junk sites first sometimes (sites that aren’t even relevant to the category or search)

 

â–ª Content is inconsistent and clustered, making readability difficult at times.

 

â–ª Not well-organized making navigation difficult.

 

Display: Sometimes this site will display junk sites that aren’t relevant, and sometimes they won’t. Relevant sites are listed by title which is hyperlinked to the URL. It gives a brief description and then the URL.

 

Sorting: Does not sort by relevance at all times.
